This is a (yummie) spread range we designed for Landlord. The range consists of creamy milk and chocolate goodieness, heavenly nutty chocolate, and a crazy crunchy peanut butter spread.

Red Rabbits + Paperjam = Red Rabbits

BREAKING NEWS! Red Rabbits has merged with graphic design agency Paperjam to form a BRAND new and graphically enhanced RED RABBITS.

Here are some of the additions to our portfolio – a lot of interesting projects and customers brought to us by Kim Gjerde Jacobsen (formerly known as paperjam-kim :)

Sweet stand on ISPO (Munich feb 1-5 2009)

Sweet Protection catalog aw0910

We just finished the new winter catalog for Sweet. 2.5 weeks with a dream team from Red Rabbits working from the Sweet Protection office in Trysil, Norway.

One of the challenges this year was to separate 3 collections with separate designs, but with similarities to connect it all. Here are a couple of pictures.

“Autonomy” section design (a brand new line of fresh and funky outerwear directed more towards snowboarding/park):

As well as design and production, we photographed all products (about 300 pieces!!) – quite a load in itself. The product pictures came out better than ever with brand new equipment and techniques!
Here’s a comparison with this years vs a previous year (last one is NOT by shot by Red Rabbits:) This one in particular is an extreme challenge, as it’s a spherical shape in gloss white (reflects EVERYTHING around it – light especially) and the carbon fiber on the top of the helmet should be sufficiently lit to expose the structure. It’s harder than it looks ;)

Oh yeah…we went there…the insides of the hoods are present on the jackets to reveal the GORE fabric etc… :)

Sweet Rumble 2009

Greetings from Trysil! I’m at Sweet Protection this week, working on the profile for Sweet Rumble, Sweet condom packaging, Sweet stand for ISPO 09 sports mass, Sweet winter catalog 09/10, user manuals and stickers. What can I say…life is SWEET :)

Did the photography and grahpics (not the action pics..) – and it’s a tribute to the much loved Bullitt-poster. This poster will be used as is, and I just made two side-by-side for some huge 2,8x2m billboards up in the Trysil moutains. Images coming whenever they get them up!

DC signes up for a Red Rabbits membership

We are head over heels happy about this announcement! DC is one of our favorite brands, and we feel really blessed to be designing for them to promote the brand even further.

“Live your brand” they say.. Not only do we live and breath Red Rabbits. We also live our favorite brands that we deeply respect and are thrilled to be working with! Hence the DC and Sweet Protection posters, stickers, streetwear, outerwear, shoes and hardware spread all over the Red Rabbits office and crew ;)

Operasjon Dagsverk (interaction design)

We just finished a sweet interaction design project for Operasjon Dagsverk – Norway’s largest solidarity campaign for youth. OD has been active in 62 countries since 1964.

The brief was to make a new and exciting way to explore their yearly projects from 1964 until today. We designed an interactive map combined with a linear time line. This allows for browsing by country (new) to see when OD has been active in a specific country, as well as browsing by year.
During the design process, OD got funds for including video functionality, so if you have a look at the latest years, you can even see the OD videos in the project window.

The application is programmed in Flash (Actionscript 3.0) and collects all information (text/years/images/etc) from an xml-file produced by OD’s administration system. So projects are easily managed by OD and the flash is always up to date with the right text and images.
For you tech freaks: this is all programmed, so if OD updates their site with a new project, the application will update and display another year seamlessly ;)

Banner for Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake

Just finished a huuuuge banner for the Sweet Protection stand at ORS in Salt Lake. It’s 30×8 ft … that’s huge!

Sweet Protection

We closed a very important deal for Red Rabbits today with Sweet Protection. The deal is for the design of all catalogs, website and marketing material on a steady basis for the years to come. Steady deals like this one makes it easier to focus on developing Red Rabbits and establishing relations, as we don’t have to “fight to survive” (as much hehe..)

The offer came from Sweet Protection after the success of the Sweet Protection catalog (winter 08/09) we designed for them. Concept, design, 3d, photography and illustration, all by Red Rabbits, exceeded their already high expectations.
